Ed Sheeran stopped by New.Music.Live. yesterday to chat with VJs Scott and Lauren and perform for his adoring fans (watch it again here!). The English newcomer had a packed day with his NML appearance and a sold-out show at Toronto’s Echo Beach that night. But when fellow tattoo-enthusiast Phoebe suggested they tattoo one another, the singer took some time out of his busy schedule to do just that.

Ed and Phoebe both picked up the needle to ink each other with Ed drawing one of his signature paws and Phoebe adding the words ‘MEOW’ above a penguin. I’m pretty sure they meow. Ed was so inspired by his new ink that he wrote a song for Phoebe on the spot. Let’s all take a minute to be suuuuuuuper jeally.
