Today’s NML dance battle was one of the hottest yet! We had dance crews Supernaturalz and Illest Vibe battle it out on the dance floor and they really got the judges moving! Lenny Len, Janet L. Castillo and Kreesha Turner were all so impressed by each crew. Janet L. Castillo had her jaw on the floor after Supernaturalz performed, Lenny Len couldn’t sit still during Illest Vibe’s performance and Kreesha Turner said they had mad swag! It was hard for the judges to decide the winner, Lenny Len even said these two crews were the best he’s ever seen on NML. But there had to be a winner and with a vote of 2-1, Supernaturalz took home the prize as winners. A big congrats to them!

Trevor Boris is off to Hollywood for his big appearance on Conan and his Video On Trial co-stars thought it would be a good idea to give him some much needed advice. But Eddie Della Siepe, Sara Hennessey, and Sabrina Jalees didn’t really have the best advice…see what I mean in the videos below.

It’s Thursday and that means it’s another edition of dance battles! This week we’ve got two new crews: Supernatualz vs. Illest Vibe. It’s going to be another heated dance-off but there can only be one winner. To choose that winner, we’ve got our resident judges Lenny Len and Janet L. Castillo to offer their expertise and joining them is the always fabulous Kreesha Turner! We’re happy to have her here as a dance battle judge and can’t wait to see what she says about the crews.

Comedian Trevor Boris joined us on New.Music.Live. today and we were laughing our butts off for the entire hour!

Trevor was on the show promoting his appearance on Conan, which you can watch Tuesday, May 22. This is a pretty big deal so his co-stars on Video On Trial surprised him with some advice for his big night…but in Video On Trial fashion, it probably wasn’t the best advice. Josh Ramsay of Marianas Trench also surprised Trevor to wish him well as he goes off to Hollywood. And of course, we had to get Trevor to comment on some music videos and he was obviously hilarious!

B.o.B is coming to NML!

The rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer will be stopping by the show for a chat on Tuesday, May 29. He’s in town promoting his new album, Strange Clouds, which has fallen on many charts including the Billboard Hot 100. His first single “Strange Clouds” featuring Lil Wayne went platinum and his second single “So Good” sold over 164, 000 downloads in its first week!  Taylor Swift, Chris Brown, and Nicki Minaj are just a few of many artists who are featured on Strange Clouds. B.o.B is HUGE right now and we’re super pumped to have him on NML!

Funnyman Trevor Boris is coming by New.Music.Live today to chat all about his upcoming appearance on Conan. That’s huge! Trevor will be making his US Late Night debut and it’s about time! You obviously recognize Trevor from Video On Trial and he’s also a stand-up comedian, and a producer and writer for CTV’s Canada’s Got Talent. We’re excited to have him on the show!

Today was a BIG day on New.Music.Live. because we announced the nominees for the 2012 MMVAs!!!

Liz and Jesse ambushed Hedley to tell them they are nominated for FIVE MMVAs. We skyped in with Josh Ramsay of Mariana’s Trench to surprise him with SEVEN nominations, which is the most any artist is nominated for this year. We also skyped with Victoria Duffield and told her she’s nominated for Pop Video of the Year for “Shut Up and Dance.” But the best part of NML was when Phoebe snuck up on Damian (host of The Wedge) to tell him his band, F*cked Up is is nominated for an MMVA. He was so excited he took his shirt off!!

Congrats to everyone who is nominated for an MMVA and we’ll see you June 17 for the big night!
