Today on New.Music.Live we started the show off with a tribute to legendary rapper Adam “MCA” Yauch of the Beastie Boys who sadly passed away this morning at the age of 47.

Even though it was a sad day in music, we had to bring the energy back up with today’s dance battle between ProLiFIC and GGSquad. ProLiFIC, dressed in black and white, brought their smooth moves to the dance floor and GGSquad, dressed in bright red and blue, were the perfect competition with their hard and edgy choreography. Our amazing judges Janet L. Castillo, Lenny Len, Hollywood Jade, and JRDN all had hot and cold feedback for both dance crews but it was GGSquad who won over the judges in the end. A big shout out to GGSquad, congrats!
