Langley, BC, native Jesse Giddings moved to Toronto to pursue a BIG dream: becoming a MuchMusic VJ. And the timing couldn't have been better. Just after Jesse made the move, he caught the eye of MuchMusic producers at an open casting call earlier this year. Yielding his knowledge of music, unmistakable charm, and social network savvy Jesse ultimately scored the best job on television.

Landing the best job on television may be Jesse's big break, but the former model is no stranger to the camera. Discovered in Downtown Toronto by Elite Models, Jesse has definitely got his blue-steel look down. But aside from his camera-ready charisma, it's Jesse's passion for music that really makes him stand-out. Learning to play the bass from his Dad over the phone, the avid musician is a regular in the music scene, having played with indie bands Swingset Champion and We Shot the Moon. When he's not on stage performing, Jesse can found supporting up and coming bands at local shows or on his computer tweeting and Facebook-ing with Much fans. Jesse says he's excited to build on his experiences touring and connecting with young people at MuchMusic.

That he's a jack of all trades. From surfing, snowboarding and rock climbing to blogging, going to concerts and travelling, Jesse's up for just about anything. Much's latest addition is poised to make his mark with Much viewers by bringing his go-getter style to television sets across the country.
