Katy And Kanye Go Out Of This World

Hey everyone! It’s Brian from the New.Music.Live. team, presenting you with Katy Perry’s new video, “E.T.”

I remember when Katy tweeted a pic of herself, in full alien makeup, with Kanye West almost a month ago, and since then the NML team have been eagerly anticipating the video’s release. We knew we would be in for a treat.

And Katy didn’t disappoint. In fact, I would say this is her most ambitious video to date, which is fitting for a song that sounds like a wild departure from the typical Katy Perry pop song.

Say goodbye to the Candyland goodness of “California Gurls” and the explosive cleavage of “Firework”. Say hello to Katy Perry as a frighteningly beautiful shape shifting alien on a cross-galaxy hunt for something.

Personally, I can’t get over the amazing special effects and make-up. It really draws you in and hooks you, right up to the final jarring scene. I don’t want to ruin it for you, but you’d better watch.
