One of our favourite rappers here at NML, Kendrick Lamar, stopped by to talk with Scott and Lauren. We had to ask him about his collaboration with Lady Gaga and why Kendrick wanted to work with her and he said it’s because he really admires her creativity. Kendrick also told us that the first album that really spoke to him was Dr. Dre’s The Chronic, which is pretty cool since Kendrick later got to work with Dre on “The Recipe.” Later, he hit the stage and performed his single, “Swimming Pools (Drank)” and got us all singing along.

We played cupid on our dating show Text or Next. Quincy was our bachelor looking for love and he got the option of choosing Jessie, Kara, or Ciera. It was a tough choice for Quincy as he was eyeing all three of the ladies but in the end he texted Kara. Tune in next week to see how their date went!
