Modern Superstitions are the latest Canadian band to be featured on MuchMusic’s The L.A. Complex. They made their debut during this week’s episode playing interludes in The Luxe hotel amidst all the drama. Yes, I’m a huge fan of the show, but this is definitely the most standout band they’ve had on so far. Good timing too – their debut album comes out Oct 23rd!
Check out their new song “Bad Habit” here.
It’s catchy, instrumental pop rock. I hear a lot of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, mainly because vocalist Nyssa sounds very reminiscent of Karen O. It’s just not as frantic. I like it and I think you’ll like it too! You can pre-order their self-titled album here.
