Frank + Derol is composed of two lovely ladies, Codi Caraco and Brandi Cyrus – that’s right, it’s Miley’s older sister! They just released their first EP and it is the perfect teaser that leaves us anxious for an LP, which is expected to come out next year. These girls recorded their EP at Rock Mafia studios and if you recognize the studio name, well, it’s kind of a big deal. Just ask Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, Vanessa Hudgens, Aly & AJ and Demi Lovato (just to name a few).

Reason to love: Frank + Derol have a way to lock you into their dreamland sound that reminds me of happiness and freedom. Some songs are whimsical and pump you up but all the while, sooth your mind. Codi’s voice is unique and perfectly blends with the harmonies from Brandi. Their music captures you with words, melody and entrancing beats.

Favourite song: All of them! … no but actually, I can’t choose!

Fun Fact: I was lucky enough to join both Codi and Brandi in studio last summer when I was visiting LA and they were working on this EP, more specifically the songs “Apparition” and “Let it Go.” Let’s just say they both are the cutest girls ever and hilarious. Double win!
