After years of dreaming about it, three months of fierce competition, and beating 4,000 other hopefuls for the job of a lifetime, Liz Trinnear from London, ON won VJ 2.0, MuchMusic's digital-based search for its newest face.

Liz speaks the universal language of music; in fact she sleeps and breathes it. She grew up idolizing the Spice Girls, No Doubt, Bush X, and N*Sync and the VJs that got the opportunity to interview and interact with them.

Her passion for music and her VJ dreams followed her throughout high school and university. So when she got her chance to submit an audition tape, (featuring her very own CRIBS), it left fans wanting to know more about the petite blonde and her larger-than-life, quirky attitude. And it wasn't long before fans began showing their support by the thousands via Facebook and Twitter for the VJ hopeful.

Before coming to Much, Liz balanced a packed schedule as a full-time student at the University of Western Ontario, two part-time jobs, and a very active social life.

Now, Liz is living her dream – being surrounded by music and pop culture on a daily basis. She's proud to be part of MuchMusic and creating a positive environment that represents Canadian music and pop culture.

As the face of LIZ ONLINE, Liz uses her expertise on fashion, beauty and music to give the lowdown to viewers on the hottest trends right now. Taking on a new role as show producer for LIZ ONLINE, Liz recently launched a segment called LIZ GOES GREEN, where she showcases efficient ways to be environmentally friendly, from water saving tricks to eco-friendly clothing and apps.
