We had the cast of Degrassi on NML yesterday to celebrate the Summer Season Premiere on MuchMusic and one of the most touching moments came when we invited fans to share their “Degrassi Moments” with the cast. Allison was inspired by Eli’s struggle with bi-polar disorder and talked about how the show gave her the strength to tell people and open up about it. She also shared that she felt stronger knowing that she wasn’t alone. When Munro Chambers (who plays Eli on the show) heard Allison’s story, he was touched and wanted to meet her.
