Scott Picks: Stevie Wonder, Avicii, G.O.O.D. Music

What it do!!?!? So excited to be blogging to the coolest fans in the world. NMLers allow me to introduce myself. I am Scott Willats (@scottywillats) your new MUCH VJ. Honoured and blessed to be at your disposal for all your new music needs. Before I get into my top three tracks, let me tell you a little bit about myself.

I have been involved with the industry for just under five years. I‘ve had the opportunity to meet some of the coolest and most interesting people in music. From sitting down with David Guetta, Wolfgang Gartner, Tiesto and Afrojack to catching live shows with Dragonette, Kaskade and Zeds Dead, I have really been blessed.

As you can tell, I’m a huge fan of EDM (Electronic Dance Music). One of many things that I love about New.Music.Live is the energy and electricity the crowd provides every day. It’s like you’re going to the club or you’re at a festival with every show. While other shows may talk music, I think we live music.

Ok, enough of me, let’s get into the trackzzzzzzz.

Really feeling this glitch-hop/dubstep remix of a classic from Stevie Wonder. It goes without saying, Stevie has one of the best voices to ever bless the game. Add to that the production wizardry of The Noize Freaks and you’ve got yourself a banger. Recesssss!

On to some big room. One of the biggest DJs/producers in the game right now is Avicii. The Swede embodies the big room experience in every track he lays down. Teaming up with Mike Posner on this one, I expect to see a video for this in the not-too-distant future. If there is, we here at MUCH got you covered.

And lastly, some hip-hop. Whenever Kanye and Jay team up on a brand new track, it’s naturally newsworthy. Add to the fact that they got Big Sean on this joint too and you’ve got yourself a banger.
