Shawn Desman kicked it with us on NML today and told us all about his time at We Day. He said he was totally inspired by the day and it motivated him to get up and make a change. A lot of kids who attended We Day today were also in the NML audience and they seemed to have similar effects from the event.

We also aired awesome interviews with Ke$ha and The Killers who have both been working on new music. Ke$ha’s upcoming sophomore record, Warrior, will feature a different sound and the music is more heavily focused on her vocals. The Killers’ Battle Born is out now and we can’t get enough of their single “Runaways.”

Earlier today, Lauren chatted with a certain Londoner from some little group called One Direction. Heard of them? Haha anyway, Lauren and the one and only Harry Styles talked all about One Direction’s upcoming second album, Take Me Home and all the fun the boys had filming their music video for “Live While We’re Young.”
