In all the hustle and bustle, it’s easy to miss out on all of the latest, greatest new music videos. And so here is a recap of what you may have missed or need to see one last time to get you pumped for the weekend.
One Direction “Live While We’re Young”
Was there any single event more important this week than to see the BRAND NEW 1D video for the BRAND NEW single. Amazingly, it was also the first time most Directioners actually heard the song.
Calvin Harris feat. Florence Welch “Sweet Nothing”
Man, the guy in this video is really pissed off, but I wasn’t really paying attention. I was too astonished that Flo wasn’t doing her mystical routine in a long-flowing dress. Here she’s an androgynous lounge singer who all of a sudden strips down on stage. Wowzers!
Madeon “The City”
The name might not ring a bell, but this 17-year-old is actually the opening act for Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Ball. Talk about a coming out party.
Dragonette “Live In This City”
The band say this song “was born out of a drunken haze at The Stampede in Calgary. If that’s not a recipe for fun then I don’t know what is.” They’re right.
Faber Drive “Candy Store”
The couple is in love, I get it, but really the message here is in the larger dude who bellyflops in the pool of chocolate sauce… or at least I hope that’s chocolate sauce.
